We love Sunday!

We went to church last year from 1pm – 4pm. We enjoyed lazy mornings and sleeping in. This year we switched to 9am – noon. So there’s no sleeping in this year and our mornings are busy! But after church, we have the whole day to spend together. We’ve found some rather fun things to do with all of our time together.

IMG_2819 We decided to put the extra frosting to good use after we were done with the sugar cookies. IMG_2814 IMG_2817  IMG_2823 IMG_2835I know, you’re wondering why we left so many of them unfrosted!! Spencer can’t stand frosting, candy, or any sweets…..except for plain, unfrosted cookies. And yes, we save about 15 cookies frosted for the five of us….and nine unfrosted for him. They end up being gone at the same time!IMG_2829Sometimes we get bored, when we’re all tired, but it’s not quite time for bed (ummm, 6pm). So we do such things as light fireworks in the house?? Um, yes. Yikes. IMG_2844  And for a little adventure, we let this guy (above) choose the game. He tells us all about this game that he plays at recess called, “Candle Factory”. It’s pretty much like a game of tag. But if you get tagged, the person who is “it” gets to take you to the “candle factory” and pose you into a candle of some sort. You have to slowly start to “melt”, but you are free if someone comes and tags you. He was pretty excited to be able to pose his big bro and dad like ballerinas?? hahaIMG_2837We love our Sundays together. Although, now that I am thinking about it, this game (above) was played for Family Night Activity (Monday). We love doing silly things with the kids and hanging out together. We are blessed beyond measure. Our house is bursting at the seams, filled with so much love and we wouldn’t have it any other way!!
