today was sunny, beautiful and much too warm outside
for grocery shopping.
which is what i was going to do.
except i had a better idea.
FLOWERS
mmmmmm. can't you just smell them now?
it was the perfect day to dig in the dirt
and plant beautiful new spring flowers.
thank you mom for teaching me how
therapeutic it is to dig in the dirt.
it was a wonderful day.

** a sidenote - i can't believe i've never been to your house in st george. i can still picture you guys in the one house down by u of a. or course that was back when spencer was your youngest! :)
