Top 7 things that happened in 2016:
1. Birthdays! Notably: Addie turned ONE and Ellie turned FOUR and came to preschool with Mema & Miss Doree!
2. Erin spent 4 months in Thailand teaching English and had double foot surgery two weeks before Christmas (spent 3 weeks completely immobile, then 6 weeks in double boots tromping around college campus)
3. Spencer started his sophomore year of college AND got engaged to the amazing Monica Willard.
4. The Zurcher family moved in with us for a month (cough, cough)....which really turned into 6 months (we loved every minute of it!) while they built their new house.
5. Grace started her JUNIOR year of high school and her second to last year of high school soccer and got her drivers license.
6. Zac became a teenager #13 and joined the swim team & played basketball
7. J-n-A celebrated 26 years of marriage
After riding her scooter outside for awhile, Ellie came in and said:
"Oh, my forehead is leaking" (because she was sweating, haha!)
IT WAS A GREAT YEAR FILLED WITH MANY BLESSINGS!!
