Holy Cow, I love where we live.
{get it...holy cow??!!}
Afternoon hikes, gorgeous sunshine, blooming desert flowers,
incredible family, blue skies, red rock canyons, pure beauty.
Blessed beyond measure!
{but missing Elder Call, Lex, Brian, and Ellie!}
On a side note. I took a nap today! Unheard of for me. Somehow I was wide awake at 4am after going to be at midnight.
And I mean WIDE awake. Grace had an early morning soccer game (brrrr 44 degrees out there at 8am!), and then I did laundry
and a few other jobs around the house. But come 1pm, I put in one of my favorite movies - Finding Neverland -
curled up in my bed and crashed out within 10 minutes. Not only that, but I slept for two hours.
It was heavenly. I am accustomed to putting everyone and everything else first. I do take care of myself, but
my sleeping needs are usually neglected. But not today. And boy, oh boy, did I ever love my nap! :)
